The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board today on Wednesday announced the results of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for 10 subjects.
The Board secretary Dr Vishal Sharma informed that the examinations were conducted on June 1, 8, 11, 14 and July 12 this year at various centres across the state.
Out of 34,599 registered applicants, 31,506 candidates appeared for the test while 3,093 remained absent. A total of 10,880 candidates qualified, marking an overall pass percentage of 31.44 per cent.
The subject-wise pass percentage is Arts 46.19%, Medical 17.00%, Non-Medical 30.20%, Hindi 29.42%, Special Educator (Primary Level) 43.75%, Special Educator (Higher Level) 64.56%, Punjabi 15.38%, Urdu 40.00%, JBT 30.17% and Sanskrit 17.69 percent.
Dr Sharma stated that the results were declared based on the final answer key, prepared after reviewing objections to the provisional answer key by subject experts.
The candidates can check their scores by visiting the Board’s official website and entering their roll number or application number. The certificates for successful candidates are being uploaded to the DigiLocker, the Secretary added.
