Scouts and guides pledge to uphold Lord Powell’s legacy
The Scouts and Guides unit of the Centre of Excellence, Government Post Graduate College, Sanjauli, marked its foundation day with a heartfelt tribute to Lord Baden Powell, the founder and Chief Scout of The Boys Scouts Association.
Celebrated on February 22, the day coincides with Powell’s birthday, and the occasion saw participants reaffirming their commitment to follow his values of service and dedication.
The event commenced with a prayer by the scouts, followed by an inspiring speech. In a gesture to spread the spirit of scouting, about 25 scouts visited Sambhota Tibetan School.
