Security for Himachal Vidhan Sabha monsoon session reviewed

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Pathania today reviewed the security arrangements for the monsoon session of the Assembly commencing on August 18.

“There must be proper security arrangements during the session so that there is no inconvenience to anyone and at the same time safety for all is ensured,” he said. Chairing the meeting, the Speaker said the session will have a total of 12 sitting and conclude on September 2.

Pathania said there should be foolproof arrangements for the issuance of passes to everyone coming to the Assembly during the session. He added that the pass holders must enter from designated gates only and parking for everyone coming for the session should be earmarked.

DGP Ashok Tiwari, ADGP Gyaneshwar Singh and Secretary (GAD) Rajesh Sharma attended the meeting.
