An SFI delegation met the Governor and urged him to bring transparency in the university appointments and implement a roaster system. The delegation said the roster system was being totally ignored by the university administration in the appointment of professors and assistant professors. Besides, no committee had been formed to sort out the forms. The SFI also accused the HPU of misusing the resources by opening two different departments for a single subject — environmental sciences. The SFI alleged it was done to induct and accommodate retired people sharing the ideology of the government. The delegation demanded that all information related to the appointments should be updated on the university website, besides taking an action against the VC for misusing the university’s resources.
