Shanta, kin discharged from hospital

Mohali, January 10

Former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar and his family members, who had been admitted to the Fortis Hospital in Mohali for treatment for Covid-19, were discharged on Sunday.

A spokesman of the hospital said Shanta Kumar and his family members, who were admitted to the hospital on December 30, had tested negative and recovered fully. He said the former CM and his family members were discharged this morning. Shanta’s wife Santosh Shailja had died on December 29. — TNS
