Share knowledge gained from nano fertiliser training, VC to farmers
The Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Prof Naveen Kumar, urged farmers to disseminate the knowledge acquired during training programmes to their communities. Speaking at the conclusion of a two-day training programme on nano fertilisers, he emphasised sharing such insights could enhance agricultural practices.
The programme, attended by 35 farmers provided insights into the applications and benefits of nano fertilisers.
Prof Kumar also discussed the role of rural Common Service Centres (CSCs), which are being upgraded to serve as comprehensive resource hubs for farmers. He envisioned CSCs becoming centers for exchanging knowledge and accessing services, likening them to malls in rural areas.
Director of Extension Education, Dr Vinod Shram and training in-charge, Dr Lav Bhushan, shared insights with Dr Suman Kumar, Professor of Plant Pathology.
Field Office IFFCO’s Kangra marketing team, represented by Shrey Sood and Parminder Singh, also participated in the event. Prof Kumar concluded by urging farmers to utilise these training opportunities to advance agriculture.
