The state government has appointed Shashi Sharma as vice-chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Water Management Board. Hailing from Mandi district, Sharma had held the post of district Congress president, Mandi, in the past.
In other political appointments, Seva Dal president Anurag Sharma has been appointed vice-chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC). He hails from Kandaghat in Solan district.
Surender Kumar, who hails from Chopal, has been appointed as the vice-chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation. Chhater Singh Thakur, the state president of the Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress, has been appointed as the vice-president of the Himachal Pradesh State Youth Board.
Lal Singh Kaushal, who hails from district Mandi, has been appointed chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation.
