Shimla girl selected as IAF Flying Officer

Shimla, August 11

Prerna Gupta from Shimla has been selected as the Flying Officer, IAF, in the ground duty operations. She had cleared the Air Force Common Admission Test last year.

Prerna will be joining a training course at the Air Force Training Centre, Dundigal, in the month-end. She did her schooling from Loreto Convent School, Shimla, graduation from Delhi University and postgraduation from Annamalai University.

Her father Jitender Gupta retired as a naib tehsildar from the state Revenue Department while her mother Kamlesh Gupta works with the office of the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner.

She owes her success to hard work, dedication and continuous support from her parents, teachers, friends and her brother Samridh Gupta.
