The Department of Geography, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, is set to organise a two-week capacity building programme sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, from September 23 to October 4.

Course coordinator BR Thakur said early and mid-career faculty members from social science disciplines were eligible for the programme. “The aim of this programme is to enhance research skills and academic networking opportunities,” he said. — TNS
