He also asked the Dean (Studies) to ensure that all academic programmes include a component of field projects, research projects, or internships as an integral part of the curriculum; and new courses are added as per the need and nature of the programme; and syllabi is revised from time to time.

The VC said all departments must submit proposals regularly to different funding agencies such as the ANRF, DST, ICSSR, UGC-SAP, and the DST-FIST.

He said the university was going to involve college teachers too for PhD supervision as it would help to accommodate more scholars, and help in getting a good grade by the NAAC. He directed all faculty members to develop e-content to strengthen digital learning process.

Singh said the university had recently signed various MoUs with different institutions and industries, both in India and abroad, to strengthen its research ecosystem.

The Vice-Chancellor said the university would support faculty members in attending conferences being organised by reputed societies and agencies.

Faculty members must submit proposals to different funding agencies and also ensure quality publications and book chapters, he added.
