The Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, here today organised an induction programme for the students of the Bachelor of Education course, 2024-26 batch. The event featured prominent speakers and sessions focusing on various aspects of education and personal wellbeing.

The first session of the day was led by Faculty of Education Dean Sanjay Sharma.

Sharma talked about stress and nutrition, and provided insights into how stress impacts health, offering strategies for effective stress management. The second session was conducted by Associate Professor Yuddhveer. He delivered a lecture on the contemporary relevance of education, discussing current trends and challenges. During the third session, Partap College of Education, Ludhiana, Director Balwant Singh, as the keynote speaker, emphasised the crucial role of teachers in society and nation-building. He underscored the importance of appropriate teaching methods for strengthening and empowering society.
