The final cultural evening of the International Mahashivaratri Festival was a spectacular celebration of music and dance, featuring power-packed performances by Punjabi singer Shivjot and Indian Idol fame Nitin. Their electrifying performances captivated the audience, creating an atmosphere of joy and festivity.

Shivjot set the stage on fire with his hit songs, including “Galla Naal Hona Na Guzara Le Le Mainu Sharaara,” “Plazo Pa Ke Nikli Na,” and “Mera Mahiya Tu Patteya.” His infectious energy had the audience dancing and singing along.

Adding a devotional touch, Nitin mesmerised the crowd with his soulful bhajans, including “Tumhein Dillagi Bhool Jani Padegi” and “Shri Ram Janaki Baithhe Hai Mere Seene Mein.” His performance created a perfect blend of devotion and celebration.

Renowned folk singer AC Bhardwaj enchanted the audience with Pahari songs like "Deva Shri Ganesha" and "Dekha Ek Khwab," while Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Sunil Chauhan entertained with popular tracks like "Dil Ne Tum Ko Chuna Hai" and "Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag."

Local artiste Joni Thakur from Jogindernagar received a grand welcome from the audience, with whistles and applause echoing throughout the venue. The evening also featured mesmerizing performances by artists from Bilaspur, Jogindernagar, Sundernagar, and other regions.

The event began with the soulful sound of the Shehnai, played by the Beeri Singh Dal, setting a traditional tone for the night. The festival reached its peak with the presence of Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, who graced the occasion alongside Lady Governor Janki Shukla, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Dharampur MLA Chander Shekhar, and other dignitaries.

Praising the performances, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla highlighted the festival’s role in preserving cultural heritage and fostering unity.

The International Mahashivaratri Festival concluded on a high note, leaving the audience with cherished memories of vibrant performances, devotional music, and cultural celebrations.
