Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have wished people on Shivratri.

The Governor said this was one of the most important festivals as Himachal was considered as “Abode of Gods”.

Jai Ram Thakur said the people had been celebrating this festival with traditional fervour in all parts of the state since time immemorial. Thakur said Himachal is known as the abode of Lord Shiva. — TNS
