Shoolini University has been ranked among the top 500 universities globally, securing a position in the 401-500 band out of 2,191 participating institutions in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026.
The university achieved the third rank in India among 128 ranked universities and earned 135th place globally in research quality. Its scores include 29.9 in teaching, 21.3 in research environment, 87.2 in research quality, 22.6 in industry initiatives and 71.4 in international outlook.
Only four Indian universities feature in the global Top 500: IISc Bangalore (201-250 band), Saveetha Institute of Medical & Technical Sciences (351-400), Shoolini University (401-500) and Jamia Millia Islamia (401-500).
This is the third time in four years that Shoolini University has achieved a place in the Top 500 globally, reflecting its strong academic and research quality, which contributes 30% to the total THE score. India now has the second highest number of ranked universities globally, behind the United States.
