Shoolini varsity gets 7th rank in QS rankings

Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences has been ranked joint seventh among all private universities in the country and 38th among all universities and educational institutions in the 2021 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings declared today. Shoolini University is the youngest among the top ranking universities, which figure on the list.
“Shoolini University has been ranked joint seventh among all private universities in the country and 38th in all universities and educational institutions. It is the only institution in Himachal Pradesh to find a place on the list, said Vice-Chancellor PK Khosla.
“The QS rankings placed the university among the top 300 universities of Asia. It is for the first time that the university has been included in these rankings,” said Khosla.
He said their mission was to figure among the top global universities. Young universities, which focus on research citations and international collaborations, have managed to attain higher rankings vis-à-vis public sector institutes that are several decades old.
