Shoolini varsity offers fee waiver for students scoring over 90%

Shoolini University, Solan, today announced 100 per cent fee waiver for Himachal students securing over 90 per cent marks in the qualifying examinations. “Shoolini University gives special preference to students from Himachal, opening up world-class opportunities for local youth. We would be offering 100 per cent fee waiver for Himachal students who secure over 90 per cent marks in qualifying exams to encourage bright students to get world class education,” said Chancellor Prof PK Khosla at a press conference here today.

“Shoolini’s excellence has been recognised globally. It has been ranked the No.1 private university in India by both the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024 and QS World University Rankings 2025. Climbing 200 positions in the QS rankings to reach global rank 587, Shoolini is now the highest-ranked Indian private university ever. It also leads all private institutions in India for Research Quality and International Outlook in THE rankings,” he said.

In addition to global recognition, Shoolini University ranks among India’s top 15 institutions (including government universities) and holds an A+ NAAC accreditation with CGPA of 3.33. It is also among the leaders in patent filings, with over 1,500 patents to its credit and an H-index exceeding 115.

He further said the university was known for its 100 per cent placement record in programmes like MBA, B Tech (CSE), hotel management and media and communications. “With over 250 international collaborations across 28 countries, Shoolini offers dual-degree programmes with global institutions like the University of Melbourne and Royal Holloway, University of London, along with study abroad pathways, student exchanges and global internships,” added Prof Khosla.
