Sirmaur reports eight COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the district total to 487.
Among the eight infections, a two-year-old boy tested positive for the deadly disease.
DC Sirmaur, Dr RK Pruthi, said that four cases, including three men from PaontaSahib and one from Sangrah sub-division, were reported today.
They comprise three males, ageing 21, 29 and 68 years and one 33-year-old male.
Earlier, two women, aged 30 and 48 years, a two-year-old boy and a male aged 31 years have tested positive from Shillai on late Friday night. They are the contacts of other positive cases from the area.
At present, 139 active cases in the district now.
