SJVN chairman Raj Kumar Chaudhary highlighted the company’s commitment to the inclusive development of Arunachal Pradesh. “The release of this compensation is a major step in honouring the rights of local communities while also supporting the nation’s growth,” he said.

SJVN had signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on August 12 for the 3097 MW Etalin Hydro Project, alongside four other hydro projects in the state, with a total combined capacity of 5097 MW. These projects are located in Dibang Valley and are set to attract a combined investment of approximately Rs 60,000 crore.
