The fortnight-long celebration was inaugurated by Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN, while Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), graced the occasion as chief guest. Extending greetings to officers and employees, Sharma emphasised the importance of Hindi Pakhwada and encouraged active participation in the competitions planned during the event.

Highlighting the significance of the language, Sharma said, “Language is the simplest medium of expression. In a diverse country like India, Hindi serves as a unifying force, connecting different cultures, communities and traditions. Hindi is not just a language — it is the soul of our culture and civilisation. It is the third most spoken language in the world and it is a matter of pride that Hindi is gaining recognition globally.”
