SMC starts awareness camp for Shimla Development Plan

In order to create awareness about the Shimla Development Plan, the Shimla Municipal Corporation started a week-long guidance bureau camp here today.

Under the campaign, one official from the corporation and one official from the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department will sit outside the premises of the Mayor office at the Ridge to provide guidance to people about the plan. The people will be detailed about the Shimla Development Plan.

SMC Mayor Surinder Chauhan said, “It has come to our notice that many people do not have adequate knowledge and information about the Shimla Development Plan. There is a lot of confusion amongst the people about this plan, therefore we have started this camp.”

“Anyone can visit here and can share their problems. Information will also be provided to the people through WhatsApp,” he added.
