Chief Medical Officer Dr Bipen Thakur said the primary objective of the camp was to spread awareness about proper care and management in snakebite cases. The session focused on identifying symptoms of snakebite, first aid measures and medical management. Nursing students were provided with essential knowledge to effectively respond to snakebite incidents and care for patients.

Dr Thakur stressed that in case of any snakebite, victims must immediately approach a healthcare facility to receive anti-snake venom, which is available in all civil hospitals. He added that such awareness activities would inspire nursing students to play a vital role in snakebite management.
