Residents have demanded the Mandi district administration to look into the matter.

Seema Sharma, a resident, says, “The rise in vegetable prices has affected my budget. Vegetables like peas, potato, cauliflower and capsicum are being sold at high prices.” Vegetable vendors say vegetable rates have been raised due to irregular supply from Punjab.

Kuldeep Singh, a vendor, says, “We expect that the vegetable supply from Punjab will be resumed properly in the next few days. It will help bring down prices.”
