“This survey focuses on domestic tourism expenditure (DTES), collecting information on purpose of travel, accommodation, destination and travel expenditure. This data will help the Ministry of Tourism prepare the Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) and the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTOI),” Kashyap said.
