Solan police station adjudged best in Himachal

The Sadar police station in Solan has been adjudged the best police station in the state for 2023. It has also been ranked among the top 10 police stations of the country.

This ranking was released by the Union Home Minister during the Director General of Police (DGP)/Inspector General of Police conference 2023, stated a press release.

The DGP appreciated Solan SP Gaurav Singh, SHO Sadar Priyanka Chauhan and other officials for this ranking.

Criteria like law and order, registration of cases under the NDPS Act and Excise Act, preventive actions, execution of warrants, speedy disposal of cases, low pendency, higher conviction rate and speedier action in passport, arms and services is adopted to choose the best police station in a particular year.
