Speaker in Patna for All India Presiding Officers conference
Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania today arrived in Patna to participate in the 85th All India Presiding Officers Conference. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the Conference tomorrow. Deputy Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Vinay Kumar is also be present in the conference.
Presiding officers and deputy presiding officers of all state Legislative Assemblies are taking part in this conference.
The presiding officers of the states where there is provision for Legislative Councils and Union Territories are also participating.
A conference of Secretaries of Legislative Assemblies of all states was also held on January 19 in which Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretary Yashpal Sharma took part.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha and Secretary General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will also attend this conference.
Many important topics will be discussed in the conference on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution.
