Sri Sai University, Palampur, emerged as the overall champion of the Sports Villa-2025 trophy, hosted at Sri Sai College, Badhani (Pathankot). The three-day event saw intense competition among regional colleges, with Sri Sai University dominating the leaderboard.

SK Punj, Chancellor of Sri Sai University & Chairman of Sri Sai Group of Institutions, Badhani, congratulated all participants and praised their efforts.

The event featured multiple sports, including athletics, basketball, volleyball, badminton and kabaddi. Sri Sai University’s athletes delivered a stellar performance, winning 15 gold, 13 silver and two bronze medals, along with cash prizes awarded to three athletes.

The university’s success was credited to rigorous training and dedicated coaching by Chet Ram Rana, Punita Thakur, Divya Rana, Adit Rana, Devanshi Gupta, Ankita and Narayan Singh Thakur. Their meticulous planning and hard work ensured the team’s outstanding results.

Participants from other institutions commended the seamless organisation of Sports Villa-2025, appreciating the competitive yet sportsmanlike spirit it encouraged. The event provided young athletes with a platform to showcase their talents, paving the way for future opportunities in sports.
