State govt transfers 17 HPPS officers
In a major administrative shuffle, the state government today transferred as many as 17 Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers.
As per the notification issued by the government, 2008-batch HPPS officer and Ashish Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB), Shimla, has been transferred to the post of ASP, 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh in Kangra district, 2008-batch HPPS officer, Narbir Singh, ASP (Traffic, Tourist & Railways) has been transferred as ASP (Leave Reserve) SIU, SV&ACB, Shimla, Renu Kumari, SP, SV & ACB, Hamirpur, who is also holding the additional charge of the post of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Barsar, during the Special Foundation Course of Sachin Hiremath has been transferred to the post of ASP (Leave Reserve) at the Police Headquarters, Shimla, Partap Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at HP Institute of Police Studies (HPIPS), Daroh, Kangra, as DSP, SV&ACB, Hamirpur, against the post of ASP, SV&ACB, Hamirpur.
Manohar Lal, DSP, 4th Indian Reserve Battalion, Jangalberi, Hamirpur, has been transferred to the post of SDPO, Baijnath in Kangra, Lal Man, DSP, 5th IRbn, Bassi in Bilaspur as SDPO, Barsar, Kamal Kishore DSP, Communication & Technical Services (C&TS), Shimla as DSP, SV&ACB, Police Station in Shimla, Anil Kumar, SDPO, Baijnath as DSP, Police Training College, Daroh, Vipan Kumar, DSP, SV & ACB, Shimla, as DSP, Cyber Crime, Police Station, Shimla against the post of ASP, Cybercrime, Police Station, Shimla, Vikram Chauhan, DSP (Crime), CID, Shimla as DSP (City), Shimla, Pranav Chauhan, DSP, 6th IRbn, Dhaulakuan, Sirmour as SDPO, Rohru, Raj Kumar, SDPO Bhabanagar in Kinnaur as SDPO, Dadasiba in Kangra, Sunil Dutt, DSP (Leave Reserve), Hamirpur, as DSP, 4th IRBn Jangalberi, Amit Angrish, DSP, 1st IRbn, Bangarh in Una, as DSP, 6th IRbn, Dhaulakuan while Vikrum Singh, DSP, 6th IRbn, Dhaulakuan has been transferred to the post of DSP, 5th IRbn, Bassi, Manavendra Thakur, DSP (City), Shimla as SDPO, Paonta Sahib and Harish Kumar, DSP, Police Training College, Daroh, as DSP (Leave Reserve), Hamirpur.
Meanwhile 2021-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and SDPO, Paonta Sahib Aditi Singh, 2020-batch Sachin Hiremath upon his return on completion from the Special Foundation Course have been directed to report to the Police Headquarters, Shimla. Additionally, 2020-batch HPPS officer and SDPO Rohru, Ravinder Kumar has also been directed to report to Police Headquarters and his posting orders will also be issued separately.
