Proposed projects include a wedding resort in Palampur’s Manjha, a heliport and international convention center in Dharamsala, a zoological park in Bankhandi, an old-age wellness resort and high-end fountain in Nagarota Bagwan, a golf course in Paragpur and the Dhauladhar Biodiversity Park in Dharamsala. Additionally, an international-level music fountain in Nagarota is set to become a major attraction.

To tap into Himachal’s potential for adventure, religious and natural tourism, the state government has set an ambitious goal to welcome five crore tourists annually in the near future.

Bali emphasised that the tourism sector forms the backbone of Himachal Pradesh’s economy, directly and indirectly supporting thousands of families. He expressed optimism about the state’s future as a global tourist destination, attracting travelers with its captivating natural beauty. With these initiatives, Himachal Pradesh is on its way to becoming a premier destination for both domestic and international tourists, ensuring sustainable development and growth in the region.
