Education Minister Rohit Thakur on Friday urged youngsters to stay connected with their cultural and religious traditions. Attending a puja at a temple in the Jubbal-Kotkhai Assembly constituency, Thakur said ‘dev’ tradition was an integral part of the local culture.

The minister congratulated area residents, and appealed to youngsters to value ‘dev’ culture, stating that it taught people to live together in peace and harmony.

“Therefore, the youth should stay connected to their cultural heritage as much as possible, and stay away from drugs,” he said.
