Satpal Singh Satti, Chairman, State Finance Commission, laid the foundation stone of a public utilities complex in Una city today. A parking lot for 150 four-wheelers would be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore. Toilet blocks and six shops would also also be part of the complex, which would come up on the government land between the District Ayurvedic Hospital and the main bazaar.

Satti said the facility would be constructed within next six months and would benefit shopkeepers, patients and public. — OC
