Reports indicate that Sulaha, Bhawarna, Paror, Bhattu, Holta, Banuri, Tanda Rajpur and Panchrukhi were among the worst-hit areas. Several trees were uprooted, blocking roads and highways. In Choki, heavy trees fell on power lines, damaging transmission infrastructure. Two individuals sustained injuries when a tree crashed into a building; they were promptly shifted to the local civil hospital. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported.

Power outages were reported in lower parts of Palampur town and adjoining regions, though services were restored by evening. Vehicular movement came to a standstill in rural areas, especially near Sulaha, Bhattu, Paror, and Panchrukhi, leaving many vehicles stranded.

Municipal Commissioner Ashish Sharma and Mayor Gopal Nag visited affected areas within the MC limits, where some shops were damaged. They assured all necessary assistance to the victims.

Meanwhile, paragliding activities at Bir Billing were suspended due to the strong winds and rain.

In an unusual weather event, the upper reaches of Dhauladhar received snowfall, bringing a sudden cold wave across the valley. The hailstorm and heavy rain caused waterlogging in fields, inflicting serious damage to standing crops. Mango and other fruit crops also suffered significant losses due to the untimely chill and precipitation. Local authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and planning necessary relief measures.
