Resume bus service till Batahad
The HRTC bus service from Banjar to Batahad of Tirthan valley has been operating only until Gushaini for the last 15 days. The road beyond Gushaini was washed away at two places in July last year. The Public Works Department had repaired both the points. However, because one stretch of the road is very narrow, buses brush past the mountainside and get damaged. After several instances of buses getting damaged, buses stopped plying beyond Gushaini. The road should be repaired soon and HRTC should resume the bus service on priority. Ramesh Chand, Kullu
Kullu needs tourism facelift

The government should promote places of tourist interest by doing adequate marketing and developing infrastructure so that the towns’ economies are not affected. Rahul Sud, Kullu
