Over 100 students were educated on cyber safety, emerging trends in cybercrime, and protective measures during a cyber awareness workshop organised by the Cyber Crime Police Station, Shimla, and Himachal Team Against Cyber Crime (HIMTAC) at Rotary Club Shimla, Mashobra.

The primary objective of the workshop was to sensitise youth about digital security and make them aware of the evolving techniques used by cybercriminals. Expert speakers discussed crucial topics such as phishing attacks, online banking frauds, data protection, safe social media practices, and the importance of strong password management.

Students were also informed about the necessary steps to take in case they fall victim to cybercrime, including how to approach relevant authorities for assistance. The workshop witnessed active participation, with students engaging enthusiastically in the interactive Q&A session to clear their doubts.
