Students excel in Class XII exams

As many as 13 students of Aadhunik Public School, Sidhbari, scored more than 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class XII exams. Santam Bhattacharya bagged the first position scoring 96.4 per cent, Surbhi Grover stood second with 95.6 per cent and Soubhagya Pandia was third with 95.4 per cent. Akshita Sood topped in DAV, Alampur, by scoring 96.8 per cent. Riya Mahajan bagged the second position by scoring 96 per cent, while Amisha Bhatia bagged the third spot with 95.4 per cent.

22 MCM DAV students score above 90%

All 65 students of MCM DAV Public Senior Secondary School, Baghni, Nurpur, passed with the first division in the Class XII exams. As many as 22 students scored 90 per cent and above, while 55 students scored more than 80 per cent. Ananya Trinach, Rahul Jamwal and Swati Chauhan shared the top position with 96.2 per cent, followed by Anshul Singh and Sujal Mehta on the second spot with 96 per cent, while Anmol Sharma and Aryan shared the third position with 95.8 per cent.

Admission date extended

The Himachal Pradesh University has extended the last date to fill up forms for the entrance test for BTech course in the University Institute of Technology (UIT). The applicants can fill up the forms by July 31.
