A group of students from across the state embarked on an enriching five-day trip to Telangana as part of the Yuva Sangam programme.

National Institute of Technology Director HM Suryavanshi flagged off the bus to Telangana on Sunday.

Suryavanshi said cultural and educational exchange programmes helped students understand diverse cultures and exposed them to new environments in terms of education, life and traditions.

He urged participants to make the most of this unique opportunity. Dean (Faculty Welfare) Anoop Kumar and Associate Profs Pardeep Singh and Kuldeep Kr Sharma gave tips to students before they embarked on their journey.

Dr Param Singh, Nodal Officer for Yuva Sangam, said the programme aimed to foster cultural integration and mutual understanding among the youth of different states, making this trip a meaningful step toward national unity.
