A group of 248 meritorious students and orphan children from PM SHRI schools in Himachal Pradesh has returned after a five-day educational tour of Chandigarh, Delhi and Agra. The students had a good learning experience by visiting cultural and historical landmarks such as Nehru Planetarium, Prime Minister Museum, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Red Fort, Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri’s Buland Darwaza.

As per the Samagra Shiksha spokesperson, the students gained hands-on experience and developed a deeper understanding of India's rich heritage and modern institutions. The tour aimed to connect students with India's diverse culture, history and democratic values. Recently, 50 meritorious students from government schools in the state returned from an international educational trip to Singapore and Cambodia.
