Subedar Kuldeep cremated with state, military honours
Martyr Subedar Kuldeep Chand of Kohlwin village in Galod tehsil was cremated with state and Army honours at his village crematorium today. Kuldeep Chand was martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The martyr’s mortal remains were cremated by his 14-year-old son Aryan.
Earlier, the mortal remains of Kuldeep Chand reached his villagein an Army vehicle, accompanied by a military contingent.
Apart from Army officers and dignitaries of the area, Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Singh, SP Bhagat Singh Thakur and SDM Rakesh Sharma also paid tribute on behalf of the state government and district administration by laying a wreath on the martyr’s mortal remains.
