Shimla, August 21

He said that the decision would ensure additional financial benefits of Rs 13 crore to the consumers of the state in four months and benefit over 18.71 lakh card holders.

Thakur said that the country had witnessed a sharp increase in the prices of edible oil in the past two to three months due to import-related issues, which were beyond the control of the state government.
