Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur on Thursday raised the issue of pending railway projects in Himachal during Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha.

Thakur said the Congress government in the state had not given its share of money for railway projects even after increasing the prices of diesel and petrol.

He claimed that the Centre was giving Rs 1,700 crore, Rs 500 crore and Rs 300 crore for the Bhanupali-Bilaspur, Nangal-Una-Talwara and the Chandigarh-Baddi railway lines, respectively. — TNS
