Former HPCC president and Congress MLA Sukhwinder Sukhu has decided to take just Rs 1 as salary till the emergency situation caused due to outbreak of Corona virus continues. Sukhu, while talking to The Tribune, said that he had submitted a written request in this regard to Speaker of Himachal Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Parmar.
“I am moved with the reports appearing in media regarding the condition of poor in the country. The way poor migrant labourers are being forced to move on foot for hundreds of kilometres has stirred by conscious,” he said. — TNS
