Sullah MLA Vipin Singh Parmar asks Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to reopen offices closed by him
Palampur, January 31
Sullah MLA Vipin Singh Parmar today asked Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to reopen all offices, which were closed by the Congress government last year.
Addressing mediapersons here today, the BJP leader said these offices were opened on the request of local people and not for the benefit of any individual or particular political party. Therefore the CM should give a second thought and review his decision and reopen all offices.
Parmar said in the past 10 days, during his visit to Una and other districts, the Chief Minister had ordered the opening of many new offices. It was a welcome step. But at the same time, the CM must do justice with other areas of state where he had closed duly functional offices opened by the previous government.
Parmar said development activities in Kangra district had come to standstill because of the financial crunch being faced by departments like the PWD and IPH. He said several roads damaged in the last monsoon were yet to be restored.
He said Kangra district, with 15 Assembly segments, had a great political significance and the CM should adopt a judicious approach, do justice with the people and end political vendetta.
