This two-month campaign aims to make the city cleaner, greener and more beautiful. MC Executive Officer Asha Verma said designated teams would raise awareness about waste segregation and proper disposal. The MC also plans to enhance door-to-door garbage collection and enforce waste management rules under the MC Act-1994, issuing challans to offenders who litter public spaces.

Verma emphasised that keeping the town clean is a shared responsibility between the MC and residents. The campaign promotes the theme ‘My Garbage, My Responsibility’ to encourage public participation. The MC will process wet waste using an Organic Waste Composter (OWC) at the solid waste management site on Nurpur-Chinva Link Road, while dry waste will be handled through a shredding machine.
