On the complaint of Rajni Devi, wife of Yodh Singh of Jeor village, the Jawali police today registered a forgery case against five persons, including the local Tehsildar. As per the police, the complainant stated that they being landless, the state government allotted land to her in-laws at Dhasolli-Kanyat village during 1979-80.

Nimma Ram, a resident of Mastgarh, allegedly fraudulently sold this land in the name of his wife Radha Devi and Kanchan Bala, a resident of Bharmar, through a registered sale deed in February this year without the knowledge of the owner and no money was given to her family. Dharam Chand, a resident of Jawali, was produced before the Tehsildar, Jawali, during the registration of the said sale deed.
