Thakur making baseless comments, say ministers
Dismissing Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur’s comments about the dismal condition of the state treasury as baseless, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani today said the Leader of Opposition had become habitual of making such wild assumptions about the state’s financial condition.
“In reality, bills worth Rs 550 crore have been cleared from the treasury ensuring release of payments to about 10,000 beneficiaries in a single day on January 13,” the ministers said in a press release.
They further said that such baseless statements of the opposition leaders reflect their lack of wisdom and awareness about the policies and transformative initiatives implemented by the government in the last two years. “The Opposition has chosen to mislead the public with unfounded criticisms instead of acknowledging the real progress,” they said. The ministers claimed said the state had made remarkable achievements in the last two years.
