Thieves allegedly broke into a house in Nargala village of Jawali sub division, Kangra, and decamped with 100 gram jewelry and Rs 20,000 on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

A case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
