The third Himachal Pradesh State Table Tennis Ranking Championship was inaugurated at Him Academy Public School here today. The event was declared open by RC Lakhanpal, chairman of the school, and would conclude on July 27.

He said, “This tournament would not only promote sportsmanship but also foster a sense of unity and healthy competition among participants.” As a many as 135 players from across the state are participating in the championship.

Adhish Rana, secretary of Himachal Pradesh Table Tennis Association (HPTTA); former secretary Yash Pal Rana; Pankaj Lakhanpal, president of Hamirpur District Table Tennis Association (HDTTA); Vishal Arvind district secretary of TTA; Ankush Mehra, treasurer of HPTTA; and Bhanu Prashar, treasurer of HDTTA, were also present.

Principal Naina Lakhanpal said, “We are delighted to host this championship at Him Academy Public School and provide a platform to talented players from across the state.”
