Following the court’s directions, the Jawali police registered a forgery case against three Delhi-based private finance companies and five field workers last evening.

The companies — Kim Infrastructure and Developers Limited, Kim Future Vision Services Limited and Nector Commercial Estate Limited — opened their branch offices in Jawali and its surrounding areas in 2008. They launched a number of schemes like long-term fixed deposits and recurring deposits. As many as 5,000 persons deposited their hard-earned money under different schemes. Later in 2016, the branch offices of the companies closed overnight and the accused fled without repaying money to the depositors.

The police had registered a case against chief managing director Ravinder Sandhu, managing director Kamaljeet Singh, director MS Chima, area manager Rajesh Pathania and branch manager Paramjeet Singh.
