Three Covid patients died at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College and Hospital at Nerchowk in Mandi district today.
They were identified as Savitri Devi (60) of Purani Mandi; Mangaru Ram (64) of Chapad village of Seraj in Mandi district and Mast Ram (77) of Jangali in Hamirpur district.
According to the district health authorities, all three patients were in the isolation ward of the medical college.

Dr Jeevanand Chauhan, Medical Superintendent, said the patients were suffering from chronic illness.
Vinod Kumar, BJP MLA from Nachan in Mandi district, was also found Covid positive.
