In another case, police arrested two persons with seven bottles of Codeine Phosphate LYCAREXT-T Cough Surup in Nerwa, Shimla district. The accused have been identified as Ritesh (26), a resident of Kalara village, and Arvind (31) of Thekra village in Nerwa.
Shimla Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said a case under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, had been registered against the accused who was arrested with heroin, at the Rampur police station, while a case under Sections 22, 25 and 29-61-85 of the NDPS Act has been registered at the Nerwa police station. Further investigation is on.
