Paying homage to the martyr in Shimla, the Tibetan community said his sacrifice for the country will not be forgotten.

While offering their condolence to the family of Nyima Tenzin – he is survived by his wife and three children – the community also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured soldier and his return to his battalion.

“We have lost a brave officer. Tibetans living in exile all over the world have organised special prayers to pay tributes to the departed soul,” said Tsering Dorjee, a Tibetan freedom activist.
